How credits map to API usage

You pay per platform a post goes to, once, when the post is accepted. Reads, drafts, media uploads, webhooks and connecting accounts are free. Targets that fail are refunded.

Pricing questions

Can I pay for a plan today?
Not yet. Payments are coming soon. Email hello@betterpost.dev and we will move you to a paid plan or add credits by hand.
When do monthly credits reset?
Every month on the day you signed up. Unused monthly credits do not roll over.
What is the difference between monthly credits and a credit pack?
Monthly credits come with your plan and reset each month. Pack credits never expire and are only used once your monthly credits run out.
Am I charged when a post fails?
No. Platforms that fail are refunded, and so are scheduled posts you cancel or delete before they go out.
Why does a post on X with a link cost more?
X charges far more for posts that contain links, so a post on X with http:// or https:// in the text costs 50 credits instead of 5.
What does Coming soon mean on a plan?
Those APIs are not built yet. They will be included in paid plans at no extra cost when they ship.
What happens when I run out of credits?
New posts get a 402 response that says how many credits are needed and how many you have. Reads, drafts and everything else keep working.
