Schedule a post

Create a post with scheduledFor instead of publishNow:

• scheduledFor is an ISO 8601 date-time and must include a time (2026-11-03T09:00:00).
• Without an offset, it is wall-clock time in timezone (an IANA name such as Europe/Berlin; default UTC). Times that fall in a daylight-saving gap move forward; ambiguous times take the earlier instant.
• With Z or an offset (2026-11-03T14:00:00Z, 2026-11-03T09:00:00-05:00), the time is absolute and timezone is only stored.
• It must be in the future, otherwise 400 scheduled_in_past.
• The response always returns the UTC instant.

• Credits are charged when the post is accepted, not when it publishes, so a scheduled post never fails later for lack of credits. Cancelling or deleting it refunds them.
• A post.scheduled webhook is sent right away.
• BetterPost checks for due posts every minute, so a post goes out within about a minute of its time. Then the usual post.published, post.partial or post.failed webhook follows.
• Account problems that appear after scheduling (a disconnected account, or one that needs reauthorization) fail only that target, which is refunded.
